Homemade Granola

Hello Dolls,


I love meal prepping homemade granola to eat throughout the week. As I mentioned and showed in my Housewife Diary Vlog, you can use different spices and fruits to enjoy different flavors throughout the week. In the fall season, I used apples, cinnamon and pumpkin spice seasoning for the granola.

In this Housewife Diary, I'm using an all around favorite, strawberries & blueberries.


This recipe is simple & cost effective. I love saving money by making granola at home. I can measure how much sugar I want to use and I use all organic ingredients.


3 cups of of rolled oats

1/2 a cup of maple syrup

1/2 a cup of honey

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 cup of melted coconut oil or olive oil

Dash of sea salt


Optional

3 strawberries, chopped

handful of blueberries, halved


other great toppings

apples, chopped

dried cranberries

raisins

chocolate chips

coconut flakes



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Heat maple syrup, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, oil and sea salt in a small saucepan on low heat.

  3. Once heated, add in oats and combine.

  4. Cut fruits and mix with oats.

  5. Evenly spread contents onto a parchment-lined tray.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip halfway through.

et voila!

Enjoy with a smoothie bowl, yogurt parfait, or with a bowl of milk.
