If you’re a homemaker looking for an extra source of income that doesn't take you away from your home, then I have the perfect job recommendations for you.
As homemakers, we have a passion and a duty to take care of our home and family. Although you may need an extra income source, these options won't take you away from where you're needed the most - at home.

Some of these options will cater to your needs of turning a hobby or interest into a part-time job or work to complete a couple hours out of the day while your husband is at work and your children are at school. You'll be able to work from home and continue with your homemaking tasks throughout the day.
1. Blogger
The perfect opportunity for you to get your ideas out there and build an online community. Share recipes, sales, clothing, home decor inspiration, thoughts and more! This takes time to generate income. Watch my video for more details on how to start a blog and start making money!
Freelance Writing is another great option if you don’t want to start a blog!
2. Editor
Edit blog posts, news articles, online articles and more! There are different platforms looking for freelance editors so don’t miss out!
3. Audio Book Narrator
If you’ve been complimented on your voice or you’ve been called a good reader, then this is perfect for you! Sources like Amazon Audible and other audio book platforms are looking for narrators to keep their business going. That’s where you come in!
4. Transcriptionist
Write what you hear! Do this in your spare time at home. Set aside a couple of hours out of the day to transcribe audio. Be sure to have stable internet connection!
5. Data Entry Analyst
Manually enter text and data as your work from home job. Perfect opportunity if you want a methodical, get-it-done type of job!
6. Help Center Associate
Answer phone calls, help others and do it all from your home. This may require you to stop and answer calls during your day. Something to consider for moms with newborns or young ones!
7. Interior Designer
If you have a love for home decor, then expand on your knowledge and become an interior designer! You can work for yourself and build your own portfolio based on your home. You can also work under someone in a business!

Work alone or join a company and help with other tasks like sourcing, organizing and planning!

If you’re savvy with various social media platforms then what are you waiting for? Even if you’re skilled with one social media network, take free online courses and capitalize on how you spend your time on your phone!
11. Homemade Product Seller
If you’re skilled in crafts, sewing, etc. then you should consider selling it online and in person!
12. Amazon Seller
More and more people are not only buying on Amazon but SELLING too! DO YOUR RESEARCH! Speak to your husband about investing in your own store.
13. Meal Prep Chef
Capitalize off your kitchen! Prep and cook meals for those who are busy and on-the-go! Basic math skills will be important to make sure you can turn a profit.
14. Caterer
Another great way to utilize your kitchen. Caterer for church events, club meetings, seasonal events, weddings, etc. Don’t underestimate the word of mouth!
15. Babysitter/Nanny
Perfect for homemakers who dont have children yet. Prepare and have hands-on experience! Have the parents drop off their child and babysit from your home!
